AU PLOT

Danny is not accustomed to: Hawaii heat, spam on restaurant menus, pidgin English, and waking up with too much hair, less height, and distinctly different body parts. He's too goddamn tired to put much thought to it beyond 'really wacked-out dream' and so he grunts and shifts in order to clamber on top of Steve a little more, working half his torso -- what the fuck, how is he so short, how is there so little of him? -- on top of Steve and wrapping his arms around him to get more comfortable.

"Steve," Danny mutters, voice low but clearly a bit different. "If you freak when you wake up, I'm kneeing you in the balls." And after a year of waking up next to Steve, Danny's got a pretty good read on how to do it half-asleep.

Steve breathes a hushing against the top of Danny's hip, only breaking away enough to respond before returning his attention to the most important thing right now. "Let go, Danny," he murmurs, curling his finger to wring out the sensation.

Danny lets out a fervent whine as he just bucks his hips and then forces them down to let Steve's work maximize and when he comes -- and oh, he comes -- there's this sound that gets wrecked from his whole body at once and holy crap it feels good.

When Steve pulls away, he's grinning, kissing his way along the inside of Danny's thigh and sliding up his body again, settling next to him and running a hand over his front. "You okay?"

Danny gives a tiny little sound as he nods away, just a little shellshocked now that he's come again in a way that he never expected. "Feeling a little bad for picking fights all day," he admits, brushing soft kisses against Steve's neck. "But yeah. Yeah, m'good, babe."

"Let me put it this way," Steve murmurs, leaning in to nibble Danny's earlobe. "I would've thought something was more seriously wrong if you hadn't wanted to pick fights all day."

Danny is a little ticklish and he curls up at the earlobe biting, letting out a breathless little laugh. "Hey, so long as you know I'm never really pissed at you," is all Danny has to say, sliding over slightly, pushing a palm over his stomach where he'd punched him earlier. "No bruises on Superman's body? I don't think I hit hard enough for that, but a guy's gotta check."

"You do have a pretty small fist now, all things considered," Steve replies, happy to coax a sound like that from Danny as he leans in to kiss him again, slowly, tongue flicking against his upper lip. "Didn't hurt that much."

"Why you gotta make comments about my size, huh?" Danny mumbles into the kiss, sliding a little closer to Steve again, feeling like history is repeating as he slides both knees around his hips and settles back on his thighs, bending forward to keep kissing Steve deep and slow.

"What do you want me to make comments about then, huh?" Steve says, in an almost exact mimicking of Danny's tone as his hands run over his sides, moving inward to touch slender hips, palms cupping breasts underneath the unbuttoned shirt and squeezing gently. "I could talk about these."

Danny lets out a hiss of a sound, staring down at Steve and rocking his hips forward, inching up just a little wiggle until Danny's got his shins in line with Steve's thighs. "Let's not and say we did, okay?" he suggests.

Steve drops his arms, lips twisting in a smirk. "Right. Better not get used to them," he realizes out loud, one hand settling on Danny's thigh. His hair is starting to dry big from the salt water, and Steve threads his fingers through it, combing long blonde strands back from his face.

"Damn right you don't get used to 'em," Danny says sharply, trying to get that across Steve's thick brain. He flicks his forehead just the once, settling down slightly and giving Steve a fond look. "Just get in me, already," is all he says.

"You know, for someone who wants to get some, you really know how to take a guy out of the mood," Steve bemoans, rubbing at his forehead, but he still reaches over to the nightstand drawer, rummaging around inside until he comes back with another condom. "Not about to knock you up, Danno."

"That is very much appreciated, baby, because if you did something to keep me this way for upwards of a year, I would murder you. I mean, just horribly murder you," Danny says, easing up onto all fours so that Steve can put the condom on. "And I can get you back on the mood," Danny breathes out, leaning in to start kissing and sucking at Steve's neck in slow languorous licks, nibbling up to his jaw and then back down to his shoulder, sucking on the ink of the tattoo and biting.

Steve has never really gotten Danny's whole fixation with his tattoos, but he's not going to complain if his partner decides to start showing them a little more attention. He pauses halfway through getting the condom on, tipping his head back and groaning, his free hand cupping the back of Danny's head as his lips and teeth graze over his skin. "Like that," he urges. "That's good."

Danny grins against the flesh and keeps working his way down Steve's arm, jumping the forearm to draw each finger into his mouth and suck and drag and put pressure on each of them before fixating on the ring finger just one more time, pulling off the ring from his thumb and sliding it on Steve's ring finger when he's done.

"Just for now," he says quietly, brushing the mess of hair over one shoulder, and sliding onto his back. He keeps the shirt on, buttons the middle button up to keep it from getting in the way, and coaxes Steve closer with a hand to his shoulderblades.

Steve smiles, reaches up to touch Danny's cheek with his hand, thumb sweeping across his cheekbone, leans in to kiss him again, hungry and searching, fingers nudging between Danny's thighs to make sure he's just as ready for this.

"So, just out of curiosity, how bad do you want it?" he asks, even though it's all he can do to hold back his own desirous trembling.

"Are you kidding me? How bad do I want it? How bad do I want this?" Danny echoes, in between brief, fast, hard kisses. Every time he kisses Steve, he ends up wanting more, and he lets out a small moan as he settles back on the bed. "Steve, gimme the best you got," he breathlessly challenges.

Steve half-kneels, half-stretches out over him, moving in between his stocking-covered thighs, and God, he's ready, Danny's ready, there's absolutely nothing stopping him from sliding right in, and so he does, one hand braced against the headboard as he stops, waiting, all the way in only to pick right back up with a slowly quickening rhythm before Danny even has time to catch his breath. He leans down, sliding a loose hand around the base of Danny's throat, tipping his chin up with a nudge from his nose before he leans down to lick long stripes over his skin, timing it with the thrusts of his hips.

Danny takes in sharp draws of breath every time Steve pushes inside, little whimpers that get lodged in his throat and Steve can probably feel with his tongue right there. There is an overwhelming sense of rightness and god, Danny might miss this part a little, not having to occupy himself with his own dick while getting fucked.

"Oh god," Danny gasps, feeling Steve everywhere. "I love you so goddamn much."

"Love you, baby," Steve says, low and breathless, against the curve of Danny's throat, burying his face there in the crook between neck and shoulder as he barely quickens his pace. He's willing to give it a little harder to him now, but not enough to bruise. The only marks he likes to leave on Danny are the ones they'll both admire later. He can't fight off a groan when it rises in his throat. "God, you're so - tight."

"No shit, Steven!" Danny practically snaps in a loud little huff of frustration, sliding his hips down hard against each thrust, dragging his nails down Steve's bare back and digging in just at his ass, enough to make crescent-moon marks.

Steve grabs a fistful of Danny's hair in an equally possessive move, using the hold to tug his head back, nipping and sucking at his neck with every intention of leaving several marks, if not just one. "Want it a little harder?" he growls through gritted teeth. "Huh? Do you, Danny?"

"Fuck me as hard as you got, babe," Danny challenges, the burn from Steve grabbing at his hair so damn good. "C'mon, what do you think, you think I'm some wimp?" he goads breathlessly. "Think I can't take it? C'mon, is this the best a SEAL has got?"

"Yeah, Danny," Steve mutters, his words breaking off in volume as he snaps his hips forward, shaking the entire bed underneath them. "Because they teach us how to fuck in the Navy."
