When the morning sunlight comes spilling into his room, Danny makes a muffled noise of protest as he rolls back onto his stomach and starts to regret asking Steve to put in windows. Sure, windows are great and they let the light in and now he feels like he lives in a home and not a shack, but in the morning, now he just feels grumpy and glared on.

Danny rolls onto his back and sighs, staring at the ceiling and glancing at the wall to his side that separates his room from Steve's. Usually he just knocks on it and asks if Steve wants breakfast, but Danny's got a full day with a shift at the IPD and then over to the Children's Office. Not to mention, he does want to see some people about house repairs. So, it's a long day, and he'd still like to squeeze in Date Number Six.

He finally coaxes himself out of bed. The sooner he gets to the office, the sooner he gets back for dinner. He knows he's going to be around little ones inevitably, so he doesn't go for the tie, getting an old Jets football jersey and sliding it on atop a pair of worn-in jeans. Yeah, he's gonna catch hell, but he learned his lessons about ties around babies when Grace was tiny.

He makes a note to pick up hair gel when he comes back because his hair is flyaways and tears, no order to it as he starts making noise to tell Steve that he's up. "Hey! I'm making fruit for breakfast. You know, just like every other day, since you haven't put a stove in for me!" he shouts, voice escalating on every word.

Danny's on his feet swiftly and he barely waits before he cups Steve's neck with a firm, broad, resistant hand, pulling Steve down in close to him as he possibly can, pressing a bruising kiss to his lips, one leg hooking around Steve's, foot pressed to his calf, locked behind his knee.

"Oh, well," Steve starts, but that's as far as he gets and Danny's already pushing lips to his, hard and insistent and claiming, and he makes a soft sound of surprise that quickly becomes a low groan, fingers twisting around the bottom of Danny's tie. His hip bumps the table and sends silverware clattering, but he's already licking into Danny's mouth, tongue tangling with his, and then pulls back to nip, teasing, at Danny's lower lip.

Danny's flush is only getting worse at this point because he's overly busy being kissed to death by Steve and he lets out low groans as his hips shove forward to find some friction while he's busy getting his lips pink and wet. "Steve," he gasps, cut off by a moan, sliding both palms under Steve's shirt and along the lines of his chest.

Steve pulls back just enough to answer him, looking down into his face, his own eyes half-lidded and slightly glazed, breath coming a little quicker, soft quiet pants of warm breath across Danny's jaw, and he reaches up with one hand to touch Danny's neck, fingers spanning across his cheek. "Yeah, baby?" he breathes.

Oh god, that does things in itself to Danny and his hips practically buck forward against Steve's. Between the look and the words and the situation, Danny is just about to die. "You done with dinner?"

"I don't know," Steve muses, though the fact that he's pretty much teasing Danny is evidenced by the way his mouth twitches and his eyes squint slightly. His other hand drops down to grip Danny's hipbone, squeezing once. "I could eat a little more."

"Then you're gonna do it while I go get off if you're gonna," Danny informs him bluntly, hips pushing forward again when Steve squeezes lightly. "Cuz, fuck, babe, I know I wanted dates and I know I'm a little old-fashioned, but if I don't get you naked in the next ten minutes, I very well may explode, it may become a thing."

"I hope you only mean the kind of explosion I think you mean," Steve murmurs, nuzzling the underside of Danny's jaw, and then steps back from the table, crossing his arms over his chest, and pulls off his shirt in one smooth movement, not even bothering with the buttons, letting the shirt slip from his fingers once it's fully off. He cups Danny's face in both hands, kissing him again, tongue flicking against his upper lip this time, and starts backing him in the direction of his bedroom, because it's the closest one.

Danny steps backwards, letting Steve undress himself as he takes long steps back, getting into the bedroom and not even bothering with any of his own clothes. That's a mountain for Steve to climb. "Fuck, you're gorgeous," Danny moans.

"There you go with that gorgeous again," Steve replies, focusing with some minor effort on Danny's tie, slowly pulling it out of the knot and then out of his shirt collar in turn, the silk whispering when he tugs. "All that effort of dressing up for me and it's all coming off," he teases, fingers nimbly undoing each button, one by one.

"Maybe that's half the fun," Danny murmurs, in barely more than a whisper as his eyes track the tie coming off. "Maybe I like you having to undress me. Maybe I like one more little hurdle before you get me naked and prone and at your mercy."

"You never make it easy for me, Danno," Steve chuckles, running his palm along the expanse of Danny's chest, bared by those first few unfastened buttons, his hand caressing the fine blonde hairs, descending lower and lower with each button that falls open under his fingers.

Danny's got a half-cocked grin on his face as he ducks his head down and watches Steve's fingers. He pushes his hands atop Steve's and keeps the downward descent going, helping to unbutton each and every one and when they get to his pants, he nudges Steve's thumb so he'll undo that, too. "If it were easy for you, you'd never want me."

"True," Steve confesses, ducking in to give Danny another kiss, lips moving rhythmically against his as he gets the pants open, the teeth of the zipper parting when he shoves a hand inside them, turning his wrist to let his palm cup, breaking the kiss to watch the expression that forms on Danny's face and the sound that falls from his lips. "Make it hard for me."

"Oh fuck," Danny stutters out desperately, swallowing as hard as he can while his hips rocket forward and his pants start to slide off. "Hold, Steve...hold on," Danny protests with a gasp and a wheeze. "Hold up, we gotta have a talk about, about two things. One, have you ever done this before," he asks as he steps out of his pants.

"And two, you gotta go to my room and get the lube and condoms." Which is less of a thing and more of a direction.

Steve pulls his hand back, giving the whole thing some thought, and then shrugs, hooking fingers underneath the waistband of Danny's boxers and tugging him forward while he backs out of the room, moving the short distance towards Danny's.

"You're coming with." He turns them around to let Danny walk in front, slinging arms around him from behind and kissing the side of his neck. If his hips press forward against Danny's back, then that's just a side effect of walking too closely.

Danny lets out small and wanton sounding little moans. He can't even begin to help it, not with what Steve is doing to him. He lets out a groan as Steve presses up against him, leaving a distinct impression of what's going to happen soon. "What are you, you are," Danny protests with warm laughter. "You're a menace. An absolute menace, babe." He leans forward in his drawer, ass sticking out slightly as he gets out the provisions he needs.

Steve's jaw tenses as he tries to refrain from groaning, clearing his throat instead to mask the sound, his khakis getting more uncomfortable and constraining by the second, and sits down on Danny's bed, legs hanging off the side as he reaches one arm out for his partner, motioning with curling fingers. "Get over here."

Danny reaches down to pry off his socks, leaving him in no more than his boxers. Which makes Steve distinctly overdressed. "Why, you got plans for me?" Danny says with a smirk, getting on the bed by straddling Steve's hips.

"No more than you have plans for me," Steve says, laying back when Danny straddles him, hips jutting upward, sliding his arms around Danny to bring him down on top and kissing him, savoring the warmth of his body.

"You didn't answer me, baby," Danny says, drawing out the endearment like it's a little bit of a weapon. He stares at Steve with half-lidded eyes. "How much you done of this? Do I gotta teach?"

"Why do I get the feeling that you know more than I do when it comes to this?" Steve murmurs, his fingertips kneading down Danny's back, along the curve of his spine. "I'd be open to instruction."

"Well, if you're gonna be so good about taking directions," Danny murmurs, easing back off of Steve, letting out a small sound of disappointment when he climbs off, but it's necessary to ease down the bed, taking off Steve's pants with his teeth. Which, yes, is an acquired skill and one he learned on miniskirts, but look at how transferable it is.

Steve's response lands somewhere between a breathless chuckle and another groan when Danny pulls that move out of his back pocket, arching up just enough to assist him in the removal of his pants, kicking them off entirely once they're down to his knees and then ankles, and he props his head up with his arm, just enough to the right angle where he can see Danny hovering over his lower half. "You've got my attention."

"Do I?" Danny wonders, sliding his fingertips up Steve's legs slowly, hitching in the hem of his boxers. He slowly tugs them down. He's gonna be good about this and he settles on his knees while yanking Steve to the edge of the bed, dragging slow and hot kisses up the inside of Steve's thigh before taking the head of his dick past his lips, curling his tongue around before taking him deep.
