When the morning sunlight comes spilling into his room, Danny makes a muffled noise of protest as he rolls back onto his stomach and starts to regret asking Steve to put in windows. Sure, windows are great and they let the light in and now he feels like he lives in a home and not a shack, but in the morning, now he just feels grumpy and glared on.

Danny rolls onto his back and sighs, staring at the ceiling and glancing at the wall to his side that separates his room from Steve's. Usually he just knocks on it and asks if Steve wants breakfast, but Danny's got a full day with a shift at the IPD and then over to the Children's Office. Not to mention, he does want to see some people about house repairs. So, it's a long day, and he'd still like to squeeze in Date Number Six.

He finally coaxes himself out of bed. The sooner he gets to the office, the sooner he gets back for dinner. He knows he's going to be around little ones inevitably, so he doesn't go for the tie, getting an old Jets football jersey and sliding it on atop a pair of worn-in jeans. Yeah, he's gonna catch hell, but he learned his lessons about ties around babies when Grace was tiny.

He makes a note to pick up hair gel when he comes back because his hair is flyaways and tears, no order to it as he starts making noise to tell Steve that he's up. "Hey! I'm making fruit for breakfast. You know, just like every other day, since you haven't put a stove in for me!" he shouts, voice escalating on every word.

It won't be enough to get him off again, not yet, but it certainly starts to stir him up again, and he tilts his hips upward, bending his knees slightly, looking up at Danny with a wanting expression. "Yeah, yeah, right there."

"You're such a needy bitch," Danny accuses with a smirk, doing that one more time, then he gets a little nasty and puts more pressure, and then, well...then he eases down again and pushes his tongue in just for a moment. He figures Steve's ready for the big leagues after and eases up, sliding his dick in and just rests where Steve seems to like it.

It's a slow push, a gentle burn, and Steve hisses a little, but he's never felt so filled in his entire life, and it's a feeling he can't get over even as it happens, even as he looks down to see Danny's hips pressed flush against his body, and he very nearly whimpers in the back of his throat, scrambling to grab Danny, to touch him, to anything while he's deep inside. "Danny, Danny, oh, fuck," he whines, laying back and resting, leaving himself open for Danny to do the taking.

"Fuck, a needy and loud one," Danny corrects himself, moaning a little wantonly himself as he lets his hips drive against Steve, skin slapping on skin and god, but that's a sound Danny hasn't heard since before his marriage, since those clubs he used to frequent, and it's too good. "I'm gonna enjoy this," he breathes out shakily.

"You're gonna?" Steve asks, the question falling more on the side of rhetorical as he bites down in the inside of his cheek, feeling his body open up under Danny's motion, and every collision of their bodies wrenches a soft, restrained sound from his throat before he reaches up and grabs hold of Danny's shoulders, pulling him between his legs and further on top of him, needing to lessen the distance. "Yeah, that's good," he grunts, as he feels his dick start to get hard all over again.

"Yeah," Danny breathes out. "Every time, every time we do this," he moans out, between slow and desperate little shaky kisses to Steve's lips. "Every time, I'm gonna enjoy it so much." Because 'this' in Danny's eyes is more than just the sex, it's everything. He keeps on driving, hard and steady, letting out a slow groan of pleasure when he feels it building to the point he's gonna break.

He can't even say anything in response to Danny's insistence, reduced to nothing but wordless sounds of agreement by this point, encouraging every coaxing thrust of Danny's hips at just the right angle. Steve tilts his head up to kiss Danny fully, sighing into his mouth, his hands running over his back and shoulders, not even fighting the temptation to touch every inch of him.

Danny's not made of steel. He is no Superman, he's not. So when Steve kisses him like that, Danny emits a tiny little helpless sound of a whimper and comes so hard that his vision goes white for just a second there. And holy fuck, but it is good.

It's a new thing, but Steve's learned to recognize the sounds Danny makes when he finishes by now, after being lost on it for a while, and he slides arms around him as he starts to come back down, sighing softly.

Danny just relaxes and pulls slowly out of Steve, just long enough to dispose of the condom and let out a heavy sound of pleasure as he crawls back into Steve's arms. "You make the most adorable little whining noises when you're desperate for it," Danny teases, biting a kiss just behind Steve's ear.

"Shut up," Steve mutters, stretching lazily, and rolls them over, pinning Danny to the bed and sucking a mark along his collarbone. "Bet you'd do the same exact thing if the positions had been reversed."

Danny grins as he stretches out on the bed, smiling a Cheshire Cat smile. "You kidding me? I would've begged you so long and so hard the neighbors would've thought you were beating me or something. You think I can't admit that? I can admit that," he says, running his fingers through Steve's hair slowly, his other hand gripping Steve's bicep possessively.

"Well, maybe we can put that to the test later on," Steve replies, tilting his head into Danny's hand even as he nuzzles along the top of his chest, pressing cheek and nose against the soft blonde hairs, a small groan rising in the back of his throat as he nips playfully at a patch of skin. "Jesus, what are you doing to me."

"What am I doing to you?" Danny echoes cluelessly, a bemused little look on his face. "I sincerely don't know, Steven, why don't you tell me what I am doing to you."

"Uh, well - " Steve lifts his head, frowning slightly, because maybe he hadn't thought as far as that part, the actually needing an answer part. " - I don't exactly have anything to follow that up."

Danny laughs breathlessly as he slings an arm lazily around Steve's back, letting his fingers dangle by the small of his back. "Hey, you never answered me before," he murmurs. "How much of this have you done?"

"Mmm." Steve lays down on his stomach next to Danny's side, resting his cheek on the other man's bicep, and frowns a little. "Would you believe me if I said none of it until five seconds ago?"

Danny just chuckles at that, assuming that Steve's taking the piss on this one and he keeps tangling his fingers through his hair. "Yeah. Right. Funny. Pull the other one, next."

Steve leans into the comfort of those fingertips, sighing when they comb through his hair and lightly run along his scalp, and closes his eyes. "M'serious," he murmurs. "Completely new."

Danny's fingers still. And holy shit, he wished he'd known this before they did anything. He sits up slowly, back curved as he drapes his arms over his legs and just stares forward. He scrubs his face and tries to process the good -- he just got Steve's first -- and the bad -- which means that all this might be what, an experiment? Fuck.

He stays silent for a long moment, sitting up and away from Steve, having displaced his head.

"Where're you going, Danno?" Steve murmurs, reaching out in a blind movement because his eyes are still closed, fingers brushing against Danny's bicep and digging in gently, trying to coax him into laying back down.

"Come on, c'mere, I'm gonna want to do it to you next."

"Hey," Danny says hoarsely. "Hey, you gotta give me a second. You gotta give me some time to process this, okay? Fuck. I thought, I thought...you're a Navy boy, I thought there'd be someone who'd done this for you, to you, fuck, I don't know," he rambles, still scrubbing his palm over his face. "I mean, I am fucking delighted to be your first, don't get me wrong, but I..." He lets out a frustrated growl.

Great. Just like Rachel. Steve's gonna go out there and find someone better who can give him nicer things. He smacks his head again and again on his forearm.

Steve cracks one eye open, then the other, and frowns, because he's genuinely confused by the reason for why Danny could possibly be beating himself up over this, and he sits up slowly, sitting behind Danny's shoulder.

"Stop," he mutters, resting his chin there. "I know what you're thinking, so stop. I'm not in this for just - this, right here. It's more than that. It always has been."

"You gotta just, you gotta see it from my point of view," Danny says, logical as he can be, using both hands to emphasize this point. "So, I have a thing for you. I have had said thing for months. I call you babe and I touch you all the time and I let you drive my car and be there for Gracie. And suddenly, we're on an island, and out of the blue, out of nowhere, you reciprocate," he explains, holding up a finger as he makes his point. "So now, we do a lot of making out and now you let me screw you and tell me I am your first. So, that makes me think there is no history of you liking guys, so then I think, okay. Okay."

Danny's gesturing wildly around the hut now. "Explain to me, tell me how it is not insane, then, to believe that once you've accumulated all the data you want, that you're gonna go find a tall, dark, and leggy around here, huh?"

"I can see where you would be led to think that," Steve slowly replies, leaning back against the pillows as he props himself up on one elbow, his other arm slung across his front. "I don't know, I guess - well, I thought, back home, that that was just, you know, you. Just Danny. I didn't know there was anything else to it, even if maybe, deep down, I was hoping - anyway, and then we got here, and you called me gorgeous, and then you didn't want to talk to me afterwards, so I had to try to follow you to see if we could actually hold a conversation lasting for more than five minutes before you tried to make an exit, but then I overheard you talking to Rachel, telling her how you felt about me, and - "

He draws in a breath, looking down at the rumpled bedcovers. "It was like everything finally clicked into place for me, everything I had been confused about feeling or trying to convince myself that I wasn't, because it turned out you felt something, too."
