Blind As A Bat, My Friend
Oct. 21st, 2011 08:23 pmDanny's never been Mr. Suave on his own dates -- just look at his past with Rachel, with Steve, with Niagara Falls and so on -- but he likes to think that he doesn't completely suck at getting other people out there. He's nudged more than a couple of his friends in the direction of the altar, so he thinks (thinks) that he can do it on the island, too. He's left brief and cryptic messages with both Lexie and Mathias to meet him for a quick talk about wedding plans at the Winchester. Except, there's only a table for two and Danny's the one lighting candles and setting out petals of something-or-other (Steve would probably know, the freakishly boy-scout-like bastard) on the table.
He's definitely not dressed for the event. In jeans and a baseball jersey, Danny looks ready to watch the Yankees on television and maybe he can even coax a couple reels if he asks nicely (they should have the current season, seeing as it has practically everything else). So now, he waits -- and wonders if his track record is about to fall apart.
