Danny's greeted by a strange sight when he arrives home from the children's office. He's tired because he's gone to school, did both jobs, and is bringing back ingredients for dinner and dessert, so when he finds Steve lounging on the front porch looking a little less than normal, Danny's first instinct is to twig. It's to twig badly and he picks up the pace, practically throwing the bag of food into the kitchen before storming back to the front and staring at Steve.

He needn't have worried.

One deep inhalation and suddenly Danny fully understands why Steve's got the look on his face that he does. In a way, Danny's not surprised because Steve strikes him a little bit of the type, but on the other hand... "Zulu," Danny deadpans, giving the lazy dog a dubious look. "Did your father just hotbox you?"
