Feb. 18th, 2011 07:14 pmDanny is so through with this whole island. Not only does it practically steal Steve out from under his nose what with the whole injury thing, but after Danny got him home and proceeded to show him just why he should be in good shape, then, then he left maybe one too many hickeys and Steve is exactly the kind of idiot who doesn't cover it up.
So now, now Kono knows. She has to know. She'd taken one long hard look at Steve's neck after Danny had slung his arm around his shoulders. And because Kono knows, well, then Chin does, and god knows that their extended family (which Danny is pretty sure makes up the whole island) knows, too.
He's steaming, still, and he's taken a break from the office to head to his place and just pace it out, running his hands through his hair as he tries to figure out if he's being freakishly paranoid, aware that maybe his poor reaction has done half the work. Now Kono is gonna tell people and the Governor will pull him off the task force and he's gonna have to leave the island and then how's he gonna see Gracie, huh? How?
