There is a definite issue this morning and Danny's not ready to just push it aside. He is incapable of doing that. Seeing, however, as he's already broken a mirror, has caused a tree to nearly come crashing down, and has been holding in a breath for way longer than he should. Danny's no idiot. He knows the last time he saw any of this happening and he knows the man to go to.
Thing is, though, he's kind of just a little scared to let out the breath he's been carrying since about the Compound.
It goes against every fiber in his body, but when Danny gets to Clark's house, he doesn't just barge in as he typically might. Instead, he stands on the porch and he knocks, casting a wary look around him as if someone's followed him here, ready to accuse him of malice and destruction of property. Hell, maybe he'll end up spending the weekend in zip-ties.
He's starting to worry that Steve's on his trail, too. Clark can't show up soon enough.

God, he's never going to be rid of the ants after this.
"You knocked," he says, appreciative of the courtesy but still surprised.

"How are you?"

"Is there something wrong?"

It tastes like candy, though he's not exactly sure what he expected. "What, this?" he asks with a gesture to his clothes, when he gets back on topic. "I ah, I may have had a rough morning and made some decisions I'm not entirely fond of. Said decisions include leaving home in completely unprofessional attire."

"I had super breath," he hazards with a lift of his eyebrows.

"Okay?" he finally prompts, at a loss. Danny's face has begun to turn a rather impressive shade of red, though, and that's a concern. "Do you need to see a doctor? You're not looking so good."

"You just have to be aware," Clark replies, glad at least that Danny hadn't been bestowed something easily triggered by hormones or emotion. "When you speak, take care. And try not to sneeze."

"Maybe someone's trying to teach you the value of restraint," he suggests. "There's no other way around it that I know."
