"It's like you're taking after Steve without even being Steve," Danny says, giving Kate a sharp look. "You call for backup and you wait for backup," he says, leaning forward to flick her ear slightly. "Little orange flag men, Kate, you have to use them. Otherwise you get shot, your hostage gets taken again, you lose your suspect, your case, and possibly your life. This is serious," he says sharply. "If your suspect runs and you've cleared the building, you put her with one of your backup so as not to endanger the situation."
