She watches Kate closely, following after her as smoothly as she can manage, not knowing precisely where Danny is. And although Hermione knows that there was no way that the two of them could conceive of every different scenario that could occur in this type of hostage situation, even having some idea of the guiding principles surely helps in the long run, she thinks to herself.
