Steve lingers out in the water a little longer, submerging when Danny starts heading back in order to rinse off the sweat of the day. It's just enough of a dip to leave him feeling refreshed when he heads back to the shoreline, fingers slicking through his hair. He does catch up to Danny walking, sliding an arm around his waist and picking him up off the ground, growling teasingly in his ear.
