Danny flops down on the bed next to the dog and gives a heavy sigh, wrapping an arm snugly around Zulu and resting his chin atop that fuzzy fur and giving Steve a bit of a pout. "I don't know that time fixes this so much as hitting the big reset button!" Danny shouts after Steve, so that even in the bathroom, he can be heard.

When Steve is well and gone for his shower, Danny sprawls on the bed, fiddling with the stockings and tickling Zulu, playing and asking who the best dog in the whole world is. Maybe Zulu doesn't exactly recognize him, but hey, he seems to like new-Danny anyway.
